My name is Hai (pronounced like 'hi'), and I’m a product designer with 5 years of experience. I enjoy building things that people love to use and interact with. I aim to be thoughtful in my design process, balancing user needs, business requirements, engineering constraints, and visual design in order to produce a high-quality end-product.
My design philosophy and process originate from my time at Stanford, where I studied user-centered design under David Kelley, founder of leading design firm IDEO. My courses also consisted of mechanical engineering, art, and psychology, providing me with an interdisciplinary background that helps me to approach problems from different perspectives.
In my free time, I enjoy photography, hiking, playing basketball, golf, and singing along (badly) to old 90s R&B and rap songs.
